Annotated PDFs, Preview.app and Adobe Acrobat

Late tonight i annotated a PDF in Preview.app, and wanted to send it to a Windows-using colleague who uses Adobe Acrobat. Then I realized that hey: maybe Preview is the only app that can read annotations made in Preview. Would Acrobat be able to read it?

Google wouldn’t tell me. So I went and downloaded the reader to see for myself.

Rest assured: it does. Annotations made in Preview can be read in Acrobat.
